BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN IN SEVILLE
The BOSS has chosen Seville to start the European part of his new World Tour and he will take off his periplus at the amazing stadium of La Cartuja in the andalusian capital on the 13th of May of 2012.
Seville, La Cartuja Stadium
The concert will take place at the same scene where Springsteen played live on the 28th of July 2009 with an audience of more than 30.000 people. This time he will present his sixteenth studio album called Working on A Dream.
The andalusian capital will not be the only place in Spain where Bruce Springsteen will have a concert. On the 17th of the same month of May 2012 he will play live at the Olympic Stadium of Barcelona and in June, on the 2nd he plays at the Estadio de Anoeta of the Basque city of San Sebastian and on the 17th of that same month it’s Madrid’s turn where he will give a concert at the Real Madrid stadium of Santiago Bernabeu.
The World Tour of the E STREET BAND will be the first without the amazing saxophonist Clarence Clemons. After Seville the show will move in June and July to Sunderland, Isle of Wight, London and Manchester.
Since that same tour in 2009 The Boss and his band have not been playing live and through a press message they want to let the world know that the new and forthcoming album is almost finished, tough still without a title. They are about to inform about the release date and they tell their fans all around the world that they are really looking forward to play live again.
For Seville the organisation of the concert is expecting some 60.000 viewers and the authorities (Consejería de Turismo, Comercio y Deportes of Andalusia) calculate an economic input for the city of some 5 million Euro.
